4th Grade Happenings! Students explored potential and kinetic energy in Ms. Ezekiel's class, building ramps using balls of different mass to see the effect mass has. Students also built ramps of different heights to determine the effect height makes. Mrs. Phillips' 4th grade students worked in groups to research information about different mountain ranges around the world. They presented their information by putting together an informational poster for “hikers that would want to hike the mountain” they were assigned.

Students got creative and designed their own paper airplanes, then tested them out to see which one could fly the farthest. They even compared their creations to a styrofoam glider. Guess what? Two 6th graders, Cody and Mason, tied for the record with their paper airplanes, each flying an impressive 46 feet! ✈️
