Friday, March 1st, is Read Across America Day!
MST will get comfortable while reading and celebrating all things books!
All students may wear pajamas on Friday in celebration of Read Across America Day.


MST 6th-graders will present our very first Black History Month event on Tuesday, February 27th @ 6pm. This event will be held in the MST cafeteria. There will be art, student presentations, and musical performances. We would love for you to join us!

Yesterday, MST had to say farewell to our beloved Officer Massey. We appreciate the impact you made on our students and our staff. We appreciate you going above and beyond to make our school safe. We appreciate you loving our students so well. We appreciate you being a champion for every single one of our students. We already miss you, Officer Massey!







On Wednesdays, we dress up!
Every Wednesday is Dress for Success Day in 5th grade and our 5th-graders keep dressing and impressing!

In Mrs. Gilbert's class, you don't just learn about silent e in the classroom. Sometimes you go explore the halls to find silent e words and even take their picture.

Today is National Wear Red Day. It is a day to recognize and bring awareness to women's heart disease. MST wore red for our very own and very special Trina Walls, MST 6th grade teacher. We love you, Ms. Walls!

Happy Groundhog Day! To celebrate, our kindergarten students investigated how shadows are affected by the placement of light using their very own made groundhog puppets and a flashlight!

Tomorrow is the 100th day of school which also means the a-maze-ing cereal domino effect!
MST is still collecting unopened cereal boxes for a philanthropic project. Tomorrow, every box collected will be arranged into one large domino maze throughout the building and students will get to watch the dominos topple! All cereal boxes must be turned in by 9 am tomorrow morning.
The grade level that collects the most cereal boxes will win a pizza party! Check out the picture below to see the current tally.
