Today our 6th graders embarked on a Fictional Genre book tasting in the library! They got to take a reading personality quiz to see which genre best suited them in order to find a book that they would enjoy to meet the criteria for their Reading class! From Thrillseekers to Romance Enthusiasts to Humorous Fiction and beyond, these students now have the insight to make this assignment enjoyable and relative to their learning! 🤓📚

From Marion School District to Patriot Nation!

An employee from Circle 'N' Market presented MST a $500 grant funded by the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program. This program allows locally owned branded retailers the opportunity to invest in the future of their communities through educational grants. Thank you for allowing us to continue to create the future for our MST students!

Fifth Grade Parents: Due to a 90% chance of rain tomorrow, we are postponing the 5th grade field trip to the TN Safari Park. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. We held out in hopes that the forecast would improve. It is always difficult to predict the weather for outdoor fiels trips. We will keep you informed regarding the new date and we hope you will be able to attend.

Meet D, one of our awesome MST 5th graders. He met T, a kindergartener, on the school bus. While getting to know him, D said he learned T’s favorite snack was rice crispy treats. Sweet D stopped by Mrs. Sagaskey’s room Thursday morning to tell T good morning and give him a surprise to brighten his day. ❤️ #buildingrelationships #kindnessmatters #teamMST #creatingtheFUTURE
