Mrs. Gilbert had her 1st grade class engage in socratic seminars. Students asked open-ended questions and discussed how books changed the lives of the animals from the story “Wild About Books".

Last week, third graders worked on analyzing and interpreting data from a survey. Students then put the data into a hallway display. Not only did they combine their reading and math skills but they got to show off those skills with a hands-on event!

Because we care about others, MST collects can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. Each tab collected is recycled and the funds are used to help with the needs of the Ronald McDonald House and the families who stay there. RMH accepts any metallic tab like the tabs from energy drinks, soup cans, and soda cans. There is a bucket located in our lobby for students to donate their tabs for RMH. Let's get that bucket filled!

Our first week of school was a great one! Especially because our mornings were started by these fabulous student leaders!

MST had a rockin' first week of school! We are so excited to see what all this year holds and how our students grow!

Independence Day was a hit! Students showed off their independence by conquering their morning school routines and showed off some Patriot pride while they did. MST's halls were definitely full of that red, white and blue!

Birthdays are always great at MST but they happen to be extra special when you share it with your sibling and take a birthday pic with Dr. Dodson!

Thank you, Coach Prater and Marion Patriot Baseball, for the cool caps you donated to the MST PBIS Store! Your support is much appreciated!

Attention MST Parents:
Your kiddos have already done an amazing job at learning the MST Way! We are so proud of them. Friday, we will put their skills to the test by having them walk in the building by themselves! Help us celebrate their independence this Friday. We will celebrate together by wearing red, white, and blue as our little Pats walk in the building all by themselves! ❤️🤍💙

Thank you to the Hall Family for helping make our school look fabulous!

2022-2023 MST School Supply Lists

Today we honored and celebrated two of our MST family members, Donna Bryant and Ginny Lawrence. These outstanding ladies have earned the honor of retirement. They will be deeply missed around our halls but we congratulate them and share in their excitement for their next life adventure. We thank them for their service to our students and our community.
We also want to say goodbye to other #teamMST members who will not be returning to MST next year. We wish them well on their newest chapters and want them to know they will always have a
special place in our hearts. Thank you for your service. You will be missed!
We hope all of our students and staff have a safe and sunny summer!

4th grade students learned about Newton's laws of motions in their science class. When they went to Library today, they used their knowledge of those laws to construct water slides. This particular group "understood the assignment" and decided to put their individual creations together to make one MEGA water slide!

Check out these MST superstars who rocked the morning announcements!

Our lost and found area is overflowing with items! This week, make sure your students checks it out to see if any of their belongings are in lost and found. Lost and found is in the STEM Lab.

We have acquired quite a collection of items in our Lost & Found. These items will be in our STEM Lab this week. As you are on campus for our ceremonies/awards events this week, please visit our STEM Lab to see if any of the items we have collected belong to your child.
After this week, these items will be donated to charity.
