October 24th-28th is Red Ribbon Week! Let's dress up and be drug free!

Fourth grade students are learning about the 5 forms of energy. M.E.L.T.S. will help you remember those five forms are mechanical, electrical, light, thermal and sound. Students worked on building circuits in science class. These circuits used all 5 forms of energy. Mechanical energy was displayed in the working fan. Electrical energy was displayed in electrons moving along the closed path. Light energy was produced when the circuit was closed. Sound energy was heard through the speaker.

For a thankful Thursday, we would like to thank some of our incredible 6th grade students. These students have been showing leadership through service. These students have been helping with lots of things around here lately and we really appreciate them. They did an amazing job assisting with our Gardening with Grands event last week. Avery Gill, Riley Griffin, Adrian Johnson, and Maeson Shelton, we are so proud of you and thankful for you!

Our community has heart!

The Men on a Mission have been doing an amazing job of showing up for our students lately! If you would like more information on this program or would like to volunteer, call our front office at 870-739-5180.

Here’s your weekly drop of morning announcement helpers! We have the best students!

4th grade students have been studying a book about the heart called "The Circulatory Story" in their reading class. They took what they learned from reading the book and put it into practice in science class. During their science class, students got the opportunity to see a dissection of an actual pig heart. This was also a community effort as 4th grade parents and local nurses volunteered to help with the dissections.
