Friday night Marion was honored to celebrate Marion Math, Science and Technology Magnet School’s success in the America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education grant program. The America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education program, sponsored by the Bayer Fund, partners with farmers to nominate their local school district to apply for STEM grants through the program. Since 2011, the program has given over $18 million to more than 1,000 rural public school districts. Friday night, Marion Math, Science and Technology Magnet School and the Marion School District was awarded a $ 25,000.00 grant through America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education program, which helps farmers support their local rural public school districts.
