Save Fred the Worm with 8th grade science!

A new face to Marion Junior High School - Isaac Clemmons works with his 8th grade science students to learn more about lab safety.

"Education is the passport for the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today." These MJHS students are working hard to prepare for their futures.

Can 8th grade science classes of Mrs. Koons, Mrs. Nash, and Mr. Clemmons save Fred the Worm?
Fredrickton the Third, or "Fred" for short, was having a great day on his boat. Then, suddenly, a big wave came and flipped his boat. Can you save FRED?

Physical Education Classes are working hard in the arena. They are getting in their workouts and some fun games of basketball, walking, running and volleyball.

The halls of MJHS are dressed for SUCCESS!

Mrs. Hall is meeting with each grade level to ensure everyone is on the same page with the rules and procedures at MJHS.

Mrs. Long's Algebra I students didn't waste any time getting the year started with math lessons. ✖️➗➕🟰

A big thank you to PalePops for generously donating their delicious ice cream to MJHS for our good behavior/end-of-the-year celebration! Our students absolutely loved their sweet treats—it was the perfect way to celebrate their hard work and wrap up the school year. We truly appreciate your support and encourage everyone in our community to support local businesses like PalePops. Your kindness and community spirit make a big difference!

The Call of Crittenden County
East Arkansas Youth Services

Several students who competed in the talent show and helped behind the scenes presented a check to representatives from each organization.

The students at MJHS pulled out all the stops with their talents in the Talent Show. Thank you to all the wonderful participants and congratulations to our 1st place winner Averie Fleming and 2nd place winner Brennan Thomas. All the participants did an amazing job!!!!

Book Club ended the year with GAMES to celebrate all the books we read this school year!

Thanks to the generosity of dozens of local professionals, 9th grade students had the opportunity to attend a college and career fair.
Students visited different tables to learn about a variety of careers. Some required on-the-job training, a technical certificate, and up to a doctorate degree. In addition to learning about the education required, students received first-hand accounts of the most fulfilling and challenging aspects of professions. ASU Mid-South representatives talked to students about opportunities there, and we had college students present to share about their journey.
This event was sponsored by F.O.R Club, MJHS National Honor Society, and MJHS Student Council. We are so proud of our student leaders and thankful to have so many community partners visit our campus to inspire our students!
