MST Red Ribbon Week 2019
Last week, students at MST celebrated Red Ribbon Week. To start, students made a Say No sign on the playground fence. In class, they discussed the dangers of drugs, ways to say no to peer pressure, and how drug use would affect their future career choices.  Students made pledges to be drug free and each day they dressed up, from Monday’s “iTune Out Drugs”: dress as your favorite musician, to Thursday’s “Make Drugs a Thing of the Past”: Decades Day.  Students also got to meet Ms. Tawanna Bailey from West Memphis Police Department, who spoke to them on the dangers of using drugs. It was a fun filled week.
